Established in June 2003 by Steve Smith and Patrick H. Lauke, photographia is intended to not only be showcase of the founders' photography, but a light-hearted and informative collection of news, articles, tutorials and general rantings on the subject of art and, of course, photography in particular.
Additionally, the site also aims to give a pleasant example that standards-compliant coding (table-less XHTML 1.0 strict and CSS 2.1, coupled with DOM Javascript) is indeed a viable solution for creating visually appealing and accessible web sites.
