WaSP Accessibility Task Force

it's been all over the (web standards) news and blogs by now, but i thought it deserved a mention:

The Web Standards Project (WaSP) has today announced the formation of the WaSP Accessibility Task Force.

Bringing together accessibility specialists from across the world, the Accessibility Task Force will work with accessibility organizations, technology vendors and others to help promote Web accessibility.

The Task Force members include:

• Andy Clarke
• Derek Featherstone
• Patrick Lauke
• Bruce Lawson
• Gez Lemon
• Ian Lloyd
• Matt May

The Accessibility Task Force will play a key role in assisting product developers and manufacturers to improve Web standards support within their products.

The Task Force will also work towards promoting a better understanding of Web accessibility by designers and developers, corporate organizations and government institutions.
